"Where we will find the missing pieces, and on a new journey to wholeness."
curated by Hrblgy, in collab with Lena & co.
19 NOVEMBER 2020 │ 64 min. listen
The Digital Sound Baths are a series of playlists created to accompany Hrblgy's journey to bring wellness back home. Our first one is curated in collaboration with Lena & company, three sisters (and like Hrblgy, three sistas :D) from the DMV area who came together to share space and share what it means to be rooted. We made it to help us feel at home, wherever that might be, and to keep us grounded, wherever we may be. Our home might be a singular place, more than one set location, ever fluid, a place we left, someplace as yet unknown or unexplored. It could be our blood relatives and ancestors, or a chosen family, or a mix of folks (and animals!) closest to us. (Fun fact: A cousin and uncle of our founder, Mariah, feature on "H.O.M.E.") Maybe we carry our home with us always, in some special, sacred object(s), or in our bodies, our minds, our souls, perhaps all three. Or maybe home is something we're questioning, something we're searching for. Whatever home is for you, we hope Rooting can be a safe haven on your healing journey.
